A federal whistleblower just confirmed the worst: a shadow agency uploaded our most sensitive data with no oversight, no encryption, and no consequences.
I've been receiving requests to "change" my login information to Social Security. The worse part of this is I don't know if it's a foreign scam, or my own government trying to, in some way, screw me over. Now, if that isn't charming, I don't know what is!!
I just searched on the info in that email and this is what I found. My email mentioned Exeter NH. I've deleted it and blocked any other contact from the sender.
This is what I found online:
You should be highly suspicious of any emails about Social Security that mention Exeter, NH. The Social Security Administration (SSA) does not send unsolicited emails asking for personal information or demanding action. Any email of this nature is almost certainly a scam.
I'm hoping others will read my reply and benefit from what I found.
Very good. Thank you for sharing. This information is very important. Considering the news of this breech is just getting out to the public it doesn't surprise me that scammers saw an opening.
If the information has been sold to or acquired by a hostile actor, I doubt we will be told. There will just be an explosion of identity theft, fraud, etc. Honestly, i don't know why we aren't in the streets with pitchforks. This impacts everyone

If it's in the form of an email take a closer look at who the sender is.

Have the Muskrats put all of our tax returns on the dark web in their pedophile directory yet?
THIS IS GENIUS!
Only the Bloated Yam and his Tesla Dealer pal could have thought of this one!
Wow. It is as unbelievable as it is expected.
Where is this going to lead ?

We cannot accept incompetence as governance. People should be angry. VERY angry!
