4 Dead, 10 Injured After Shooting at Stockton, California Birthday Party
A children’s birthday party in Stockton, California erupted into chaos late Saturday night after gunmen opened fire, leaving four people dead and ten others wounded, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office and confirmed reporting from AP News.

Deputies responded around 10:20 p.m. to the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue near Thornton Road, where families had gathered inside a small banquet hall connected to an ice-cream shop. Investigators say multiple suspects fired into the crowd before fleeing the area.
Children were among the victims, though authorities have not released ages or additional details. Paramedics rushed the wounded to hospitals across San Joaquin County. Four victims died at the scene or shortly after arrival, and ten others are being treated for gunshot injuries.
Detectives worked through the night collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses who described a chaotic scene as families ran for cover. Officials have not identified the suspects or discussed a possible motive.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with video or information from the area to contact investigators. No arrests have been announced.
