Only I have to sign a consent to get my one medical record!

Oh I get it… the health insurance company gives data on prospective employees to the business and then the business only hires “healthy” employees. Moreover the business gets to negotiate better coverage prices with the insurers and all the rich fat cats are happy. The worker is reduced to chattel. Got it.

As a retired federal employee is there any way to opt out of OPM's new data demands on health providers. This could be, as someone indicated, a move to only insure healthy people but I think it's more likely to focus on gender health treatment, abortions, and other none of your business health treatment. The federal gov't won't contract with companies that are too 'WOKE' (or keep employees that are in certain DEI categories)>

Unfortunately, opting out remains unclear. The comment period on the shift ended in February, and the final decision appears not to have been formalized. At this time, we do not have confirmation that insurers have agreed to comply.

That’s what they said they were gonna do.
