The MAGAt's voted for tax cuts and cheaper eggs. Ended up losing everything in a natural disaster with no help from the government in sight. Consequences. FAFO!
An administration wilfully abandoning its citizens to die, unprepared and unsupported, should be a crime against humanity. There is no excuse. The people of the United States are at best inconvenient, at worst irrelevant, to the Trump administration. Still, at least those billionaires will get the money that would have gone to FEMA, so that's ok.
I have no needs to wish grief, suffering, disease, death upon those who voted for this vile regime - but we also need to keep the facts that this regime and its minions are FAILING to help citizens - keeping that news front and center - while shining bright lights on folks like Andy Beshear (KY) who is putting the needs of his citizens first, trying to assemble aid for EVERYONE.
Aid has been denied to Arkansas, Mississippi, elsewhere and red-state governors have tried to call in "favors" - to no avail.
The key difference with FEMA that is currrently happening is only IA and sometime PA are requested. In the past, Mitigation through 404 and 406 were also requested with IA and PA and that language has been stripped from the States requested for Disaster funding, leaving us MORE vulnerable going forward.

Blue states need their own “FEMA,” at this point. I wrote my governor, other blue state folks should too. You can copy and paste my letter: https://open.substack.com/pub/candidetoday/p/blue-states-need-their-own-fema?utm_source=app-post-stats-page&r=91pkw&utm_medium=ios
Thank you for your efforts. Great letter!
This is happening in Red states, mostly. Are you MAGAs happy yet?

Also report on THAT ^^^
excellent point. They vote against it, then want the aid when their communities are hit.

We humans are very capable of suffering. And certainly still in disbelief that all this is really happening.
Your work is so important. Thank you for your efforts and perseverance.
