There’s a reason JD Vance’s team didn’t want him sitting down with George Stephanopoulos this week — because the Vice President just got caught on live television dodging one of the biggest scandals of Trump’s second term.

ABC’s Stephanopoulos asked a simple question:
“Did Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, accept $50,000 in cash — as heard on FBI surveillance audio from September 2024?”
Instead of answering, Vance went full meltdown — attacking the media, rambling about “left-wing rabbit holes,” and blaming Democrats for the government shutdown. Stephanopoulos pressed again and again, but Vance refused to give a straight answer.
When he finally said, “I don’t know the answer to that question,” the ABC anchor had heard enough.
“Thank you for your time this morning,” Stephanopoulos said — and cut the Vice President off live on air.
The exchange immediately blew up across social media. Clips show Vance stumbling through excuses, even claiming, “I’m sure Tom Homan’s been paid more than $50,000 for services,” which is as close to an admission as you’ll ever hear from a MAGA politician under fire.
Meanwhile, Homan himself has yet to clearly deny accepting the bag of cash allegedly caught on FBI tape — only saying he did “nothing criminal.” The Department of Justice has refused to release the recording, citing ongoing investigations.
The American people deserve to know the truth:
Who took the $50,000?
And why is the Vice President of the United States refusing to answer that question?
