Alex Jones Says He’s “Inches Away” From Dropping Support for Trump After MTG Fallout
Right-wing conspiracy host Alex Jones said he is “seriously inches away from not supporting Trump anymore,” marking one of the sharpest public breaks between Trump and one of his longest-running media allies.

The comments came as Jones reacted to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s announcement that she will resign from Congress in early January and her escalating feud with former President Donald Trump. Trump recently withdrew his support for Greene, a move that triggered widespread backlash inside far-right media circles.
Jones, who has backed Trump since 2015, blasted the former president’s treatment of Greene and warned that Trump’s inner circle is “driving away the movement.” He urged Trump to stop attacking his allies and suggested he would “take the matter to God” before deciding whether to officially pull his endorsement.
Greene, once one of Trump’s most outspoken supporters, accused him of betraying her and bowing to establishment pressure following the release of Epstein-related documents. Her resignation added fuel to speculation about deepening fractures within Trump’s far-right base.
Jones’ public wavering is significant: while he has criticized Trump before, he has never come this close to abandoning him. If he formally withdraws support, it would represent a notable crack in Trump’s media ecosystem heading into 2026.
The Trump campaign has not responded to Jones’ remarks.
