According to Politico, the newly political Save America Movement (SAM) believes Democratic strategists are missing opportunities and wants to put money behind change.
The tension is stark: a group formed to oppose President Donald Trump is now preparing to funnel money into efforts that could hand control of the House to Democrats in 2026. That marks a dramatic pivot from protest to electoral engagement by leaders once aligned with the GOP establishment.
Confirmed through SAM’s internal communications obtained by outlets, the organization is targeting up to 60 Republican-held House seats and hopes to raise and spend as much as $100 million to support broader efforts to flip the chamber.
