Bud Light Appears in White House Octagon as UFC Event Draws National Attention
The upcoming UFC event at the White House is drawing attention not only for being the first major professional sporting event held on White House grounds but also because Bud Light branding is prominently displayed inside the Octagon.
The sponsorship is notable because Bud Light became UFC’s official beer sponsor in 2024 after facing a major conservative boycott linked to a marketing partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Now the brand appears alongside an event closely associated with President Donald Trump and UFC CEO Dana White.

The event, known as UFC Freedom 250, is expected to feature championship fights, a custom-built arena on the South Lawn, and a national broadcast. Legal efforts to block the event have failed.
Public reaction remains mixed. Reuters/Ipsos polling found more Americans oppose the event than support it, while UFC fans have largely embraced the spectacle as a historic moment for combat sports.
