Seems like anything with “free” in it is crushed by the guy.

I have to admit that I have been watching 60 Minutes Australia for awhile now. It seems like a throwback to the old school 60 Minutes with a new presentation. I like this.

When media companies like CBS bend the knee to government dictates, then the output of it's journalists is no longer news. It becomes state sponsored propaganda. A PR firm. An advertising company. It can no longer be trusted with telling the truth. ... and if a news agency can't be trusted to speak the truth, then why listen to them, since that is supposed to be their core function.

Soon we will only be reading about freedom of speech and freedom of the press in history books. And we will try to imagine what that must have felt like.

But luckily there are still some rebels ❤️

This is the same 60 Minutes that gave Mossad a platform to boast about its terrorist attack using pagers. I don’t know of anyone who resigned after that.

You make a good point. That would be a good question to ask.

Thank you for your reply, most kind of you. It pains me to see the state of US media and here in the UK too. Add to those the rest of the western world. Things are deteriorating, quite clearly, I’m not sure there’s ever been a halcyon period of western journalism. I think we are probably the most propagandised people on earth. I long for better times.
