Ever since Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley, conspiracy theories have flooded the right. Some point to the young man in custody — Tyler Robinson, who allegedly fired a single shot from a rooftop with his grandfather’s rifle. But others, including Candace Owens, are spinning something bigger.
Owens has long leaned into an anti-Israel stance, and now she’s suggesting that pressure from powerful pro-Israel donors may have pushed Kirk away from their cause — just days before he was killed.
On her show, Owens revealed screenshots of a group chat allegedly involving Kirk himself:
“Just lost another huge Jewish donor. $2 million a year because we won’t cancel Tucker.”
“Jewish donors play into all the stereotypes. I cannot and will not be bullied like this. Leaving me no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause.”
At first, critics dismissed the texts as fake. But that narrative shifted when Andrew Kolvet — Charlie Kirk’s own producer — confirmed live on air that the screenshots are authentic. He admitted he had shared the screengrabs privately with people in government right after the shooting, raising even more questions about what Kirk was facing in his final days.
Now the MAGA movement itself is fracturing: some want to make Kirk a martyr, others are torn between blaming anti-Semitism or suggesting Israel itself had a hand in his assassination.
What’s clear is this: Candace Owens has blown open a fight inside the right that could reshape its future. And the question hangs heavy over it all — who really killed Charlie Kirk?
