DOJ Files Show Trump Flew on Epstein’s Private Jet at Least 8 Times in 1990s
A new Justice Department release of Jeffrey Epstein-related files confirms Donald Trump flew on the convicted sex offender’s private jet far more times than previously known and sometimes with key associates aboard.
According to an internal email from a New York prosecutor dated January 7, 2020, flight records show Trump listed as a passenger on at least eight Epstein flights in the 1990s, more than earlier reporting suggested. Some of those flights also included Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role assisting Epstein’s abuse of underage girls.
The email, which is part of a tranche of nearly 30,000 pages released by the U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday, indicated that on one flight the only listed passengers were Trump, Epstein and an unnamed 20-year-old woman. On two other flights, women who could be potential witnesses in the Maxwell case were among those aboard.

The DOJ posted a statement saying the documents contain “untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election.” It added, “To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false…” but maintained compliance with legal transparency requirements.
Trump has repeatedly denied ever flying on Epstein’s plane to visit his private island, calling such accounts inaccurate. The Department’s recent releases are part of compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act passed by Congress.
The expanded flight details in the files add new context to the extent of Trump’s social connection with Epstein in the 1990s, though no criminal allegations have been substantiated against him in these documents.
Public interest and political scrutiny over the files are expected to grow as additional records continue to be published in the coming weeks.
What happens next will depend on how lawmakers and media outlets interpret and investigate the newly surfaced flight logs.
