DOJ Releases Previously Hidden Epstein Records Referencing Trump
Newly released Justice Department records tied to Jeffrey Epstein contain an allegation involving former President Donald Trump, adding fresh attention to the government’s handling of Epstein investigation files.
The documents surfaced after officials discovered some records had been mistakenly excluded from earlier public releases, raising questions in Washington about how Epstein materials were reviewed and categorized.
According to Reuters and the Associated Press, the files include summaries of four FBI interviews conducted in 2019 with a woman who alleged Epstein abused her as a minor and later introduced her to Trump in the 1980s.
During those interviews, the woman claimed Trump attempted to force sexual activity when she was between 13 and 15 years old.

Justice Department officials stressed the allegation was not corroborated and was never substantiated by investigators, noting the FBI later stopped contacting the witness after the interviews concluded.
“This allegation was not corroborated by investigators,” a Justice Department statement said.
Officials said the documents were originally withheld because they had been incorrectly coded as duplicates during a large-scale review of Epstein materials released under transparency requirements.
The disclosure arrives as lawmakers already examining the Epstein case push for answers about whether the Justice Department’s document releases have been complete.

Members of Congress have moved to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi as part of an oversight investigation into how Epstein evidence was handled and whether additional files remain undisclosed.
While the newly released records do not introduce new criminal charges, they add another unresolved allegation to the extensive investigative record surrounding Epstein’s network and associates.
For now, the political and investigative focus appears to be shifting toward whether additional Epstein documents could still surface as congressional scrutiny continues.
