DOJ Scrubs FBI Interview Record Tied to Underage Trump Accuser in Epstein Files
New reporting is raising questions about whether a DOJ record tied to FBI interviews connected to a Trump-related allegation in the Epstein files has vanished from the department’s public database. The issue matters now because the Epstein document rollout is already under intense scrutiny for redactions and takedowns.
The core tension is simple: DOJ has framed the release as broad and compliant, while critics and reporters keep finding gaps, errors, or files that appear to disappear after publication.
Investigative reporter Roger Sollenberger reported DOJ records indicate the FBI interviewed a woman at least four times, and said the DOJ file associated with those interview records is no longer accessible on the DOJ website.

The New Republic also reported the record of the interviews is no longer available in the public Epstein files, amplifying calls for an explanation of what changed and when.
“The FBI interviewed one of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims four times,” The New Republic wrote, describing the record as no longer available.
The backdrop is that DOJ has already acknowledged pulling “several thousand documents and media” after victim lawyers warned sloppy redactions exposed identifying information, with officials citing possible technical or human error.

That history makes any newly missing document especially sensitive, because removals can be tied to privacy fixes, technical problems, or other review decisions that aren’t always explained publicly.
What happens next will likely hinge on whether DOJ confirms the document was pulled, restores it with new redactions, or provides a reason for the change.
The Epstein files fight is increasingly becoming a transparency story about the release itself.
