Fox News Poll: Voters Say Trump Bears More Responsibility for the Economy
A new Fox News poll shows 62% of registered voters believe Donald Trump is more responsible for the nation’s current economic conditions, compared to 32% who say Joe Biden is to blame. The survey was conducted November 14–17, 2025, with a margin of error of ±3 points.
The finding comes as voter sentiment on the economy remains overwhelmingly negative. Roughly three-quarters of respondents rated the economy as “fair” or “poor,” citing high prices and ongoing financial pressure.

The poll’s question—“Who is more responsible for current economic conditions?”—suggests voters are assigning accountability based on who they believe set the stage for today’s economy, rather than who is currently in office.
While perceptions don’t necessarily reflect economic data, the takeaway is clear: public frustration is high, and Trump is carrying more of the blame. With campaign messaging heating up, both parties are likely to lean heavily into economic narratives as voters continue to signal that affordability remains their top concern.
