Maybe we should be looking for and recruiting people from non political careers. It seems that anyone going forward who's already known in the political world will be attacked viciously. Some fresh unknown voices might help.

And the tendency for people to turn away from politics unfortunately also exists in Europe. And the right-wing parties are benefiting from this.
