This is absolute insanity- the book banners and burners are not the "good guys" in any - well, books. Or movies. Or societies. This never turns out well.
ehhh in fairness not all areas of Georgia are the same. It’s an odd collection of demographics. I really didn’t think it would pass because they tried this last year and it failed. MTG is in northwest GA and that’s….. yeah. Then where I am, we voted Harris +66 and my district is severally gerrymandered so we’d lose a democrat seat. You go minutes north and you’re in very very red area. I’m ready to go if this is signed into law. It will only get worse.

While these “why should you care” reasons are important, none of them represent the most urgent danger of allowing such legislation to pass.
