Hillary Clinton Demands Trump Deposition in House Epstein Probe After Video Release
Hillary Clinton told House investigators that Donald Trump should be deposed as part of Congress’s Jeffrey Epstein files investigation, after a direct question that’s now circulating widely online.
The moment is drawing attention because it lands in the middle of an escalating Oversight Committee probe that has already pulled in hours of sworn testimony from high-profile witnesses, while pressure builds over what the panel will release and who it will call next.
In the clip shared by C-SPAN, Clinton is asked, “Do you think that Donald Trump should be deposed by this committee?” She answers yes and then explains that, in her view, depositions are used to test “pattern and practice,” referencing Trump’s civil liability finding in the E. Jean Carroll case as part of her reasoning.

Her comments surfaced the same day the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform published the full deposition videos from Hillary Clinton’s Feb. 26 testimony and Bill Clinton’s Feb. 27 testimony.
“Absolutely,” Clinton said, when asked if Trump should be deposed.
The bigger stakes are about scope: the committee’s investigation has involved subpoenas for witnesses and DOJ records tied to the Epstein case, but public releases have not shown a specific deposition subpoena for Trump tied to this clip.

After her deposition, Clinton also criticized the closed-door format and said she wanted transcripts and video made public quickly, according to NPR reporting from the day of her appearance.
The next test will be whether Oversight Republicans expand the witness list further—or limit the probe to the material already gathered and selectively released.
