House Democrats Leak 19 Epstein Estate Photos Including Trump, Clinton From 95,000-Image Trove
House Oversight Committee Democrats announced Friday that they have received 95,000 photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate — and released a small batch of 19 to the public that include images of several high-profile figures. According to the committee, those images raise fresh questions about Epstein’s connections to powerful men and demand greater transparency.
The announcement has quickly stoked political conflict in Washington. Democrats say the trove highlights unanswered questions about how Epstein networked with elites, while Republicans on Oversight contend the selective release and redactions distort the record.
The released pictures show President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, former Prince Andrew and other influential individuals in social settings or near Epstein, with some faces blacked out. Committee Democrats have not provided contextual captions for the photos, saying they are still reviewing the full set of images.
Oversight Committee Ranking Member Rep. Robert Garcia said, “These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world… The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”
The GOP on Oversight pushed back, accusing Democrats of cherry-picking a handful of images out of thousands to paint a misleading picture. Republicans argue nothing released so far shows wrongdoing and that the process has been politicized.
The disclosures come as Congress and a new federal law require broader Epstein file releases by Dec. 19, raising the likelihood of more documents and imagery entering public view soon.
House Oversight Democrats say additional photo releases could follow in the days and weeks ahead.
