Internet Elites MOCK Real People — Then Wonder Why They Lose

When smug online elites mock real Americans, they’re not defending democracy — they’re destroying it.

The biggest divide in American politics isn’t left versus right anymore, it’s real people versus the people who think they’re better than real people.

That divide came into full view today when Senate candidate Graham Platner — a Marine, oyster farmer, and self made working class American — was mocked online by political influencer Keith Edwards, who insisted Platner wasn’t “really” working class because he owns his own oyster farm.

30,000 readers strong. 1,000 articles. 1,000 episodes. This community is growing — and so is the movement to defend democracy.

That kind of thinking is exactly why so many blue collar Americans stopped trusting the left. The internet elites who spend all day crafting perfect tweets and purity tests have forgotten that real people make mistakes, change, and grow. They’ve traded compassion for clout. And when working class voices try to rise up, these digital gatekeepers rush in to cancel them.

If democracy means anything, it has to mean letting imperfect people represent the imperfect country we actually live in. The working class doesn’t need to be lectured by influencers who’ve never had dirt under their fingernails. It needs a seat at the table.
