Iran Security Chief Warns Trump to “Beware” After Threat of “Death, Fire, Fury”
A senior Iranian security official has issued a warning directed at President Donald Trump after the U.S. leader threatened major retaliation tied to Middle East oil routes.
The exchange signals a sharp escalation in rhetoric as the regional conflict between Iran and a U.S.–Israel coalition continues to widen.
Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, responded to Trump’s recent comments by warning the president to “beware” and dismissing his threats as hollow, according to Axios and other outlets.
Trump had previously warned that if Iran interferes with oil shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. would retaliate “TWENTY TIMES HARDER” and unleash “Death, Fire, and Fury.”
“Beware,” Larijani warned in response to Trump’s threats, according to Axios reporting.

The exchange comes during a rapidly escalating conflict in which U.S. and allied forces have carried out large-scale strikes against Iranian targets while Tehran has launched retaliatory attacks across the region.
Associated Press reporting says thousands of sites inside Iran have been hit during recent military operations as violence spreads across multiple countries in the Middle East.
Global markets are watching closely because the Strait of Hormuz — the narrow waterway at the center of the dispute — is one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes.
Officials on both sides have continued issuing warnings rather than signaling any diplomatic breakthrough.
For now, the standoff is unfolding through threats, military operations, and rising pressure around the region’s energy supply routes.
