Israeli Air Force Strikes Tehran Oil Depot, Massive Fire Engulfs Shahran Fuel Tanks
A massive fire lit up the skyline of Tehran after Israeli airstrikes hit fuel depots tied to Iran’s military infrastructure.
Video circulating online shows huge flames and thick smoke rising from the Shahran oil depot area after the strike, as explosions echoed across parts of the capital.
According to Israeli military statements reported by international outlets, Israeli Air Force jets struck several fuel storage complexes used to supply fuel to Iranian military operations. Iranian media also confirmed that an oil depot near Tehran’s main refinery complex was hit during the attack.
Early reports indicated the refinery itself was not directly damaged, but large fires erupted at nearby storage tanks, sending massive plumes of smoke into the night sky.
“The IDF will continue to operate with determination to significantly degrade the regime’s capabilities,” the Israeli military said in a statement about the strikes.

The strike marks one of the most visible attacks on Iran’s domestic energy infrastructure since the war between Israel and Iran escalated in recent weeks.
The broader conflict has already triggered missile and drone exchanges across multiple countries in the Middle East, with regional infrastructure and military targets increasingly drawn into the fighting.
Analysts say attacks on fuel depots could disrupt military logistics and signal a widening campaign targeting the systems that support Iran’s armed forces.
For now, the full extent of damage and possible casualties from the Tehran depot strike remains unclear as both sides continue military operations across the region.
