Justice Department Admits Epstein Records Mentioning Trump Were Withheld
The Justice Department has released newly uncovered Jeffrey Epstein investigation files that include previously withheld allegations involving former President Donald Trump.
According to Associated Press and Reuters reporting, the documents contain FBI interview summaries from 2019 in which a woman alleged that Epstein sexually abused her as a minor and claimed Trump attempted to assault her in the 1980s after Epstein introduced them.
The DOJ says the records were accidentally omitted from earlier public releases because they were coded as duplicates during the massive disclosure of Epstein materials required under federal transparency law.

Officials also emphasized that the allegations are uncorroborated and were never substantiated by investigators, noting that the FBI eventually ended contact with the accuser.
Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and his representatives have called the claims baseless.
The release comes as Congress intensifies scrutiny of the Justice Department’s handling of Epstein documents, with lawmakers moving to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi over missing or delayed records tied to the case.
