Trump’s long friendship and intense interactions with Epstein and Maxwell are confirmed by hundreds of sources—by Trump’s own effusive praise of their friendship, by photos, by videotapes, by narratives from Trump’s friends, and by Trump’s salacious card delivered on the occasion of Epstein’s 50th birthday.
Release of the Epstein files threatens the Republican’s hold on Congress and the Presidency, and it threatens the personal freedom of accused pedophile Donald Trump. Coverup of information in the files is, therefore, a top priority of the Trump Administration.
On November 18, Congress passed a law requiring the release of all Epstein files no later than December 19, 2025. Because release of the files threatens Donald Trump, scores of other wealthy pedophiles, hundreds of Republican members of Congress, thousands of Republican office holders, and millions of MAGA Neo-Nazis, Republicans are defying the law with a massive coverup. The American people deserve to know what Donald Trump and his enablers are hiding. And why.
What they don’t think of is many are asking the question— “What are they hiding?” At this point most imaginations will come out with some of the worst of all possible explanations, and they probably aren’t wrong. And the longer they delay the worse it will get. I don’t think any names except the victims should be redacted, the perpetrators—all of them deserve to be exposed for what they did to those girls and young women. And we need to know the moral quality of those we elect and put our trust in, how else can we trust them to make the right decisions for the country if they think young girls and boys are just toys to manipulate. I trust this government as far as I could throw Trump, and as pleasurable as that would be, it wouldn’t be far since I’m a 72 year old woman. At least he’d be within stomping distance.
The American public needs to know if their representatives have engaged in illegal conduct, even if it were to be just unethical, it is still a betrayal of trust between the politician and the constituents.
There is NO accountability. And this sets a dangerous precedent. I know DJT doesn't care about anything, but career politicians like Vance/Bondi/etc. certainly know that their party of choice will not always be in power - would they want a Democrat to act the same way? - That's kind of the ultimate check on power - would it be ok if the other side did it?
And, as another commenter notes, NOT releasing the files allows voters to just imagine - because it certainly appears as if the current occupant of the White House has a lot to hide. If not, just release the files and let the people decide.
