Fetterman is worrisome to me. I feel like we are being played. We've been living for about ten years saying to each other "you can't make up this stuff." I know he's not healthy and could succumb to an illness, but I'm concerned that he will run for president. His statements seem like those of a manipulative unifying person. It reminds me of how Trump unified people.
So, here's the deal - calling Trump and associates fascists (though accurate) doesn't exactly help - Leaders like Andy Beshear in KY (popular D gov in a heavy red state) and JB Pritzker - are doing the work to put food on the table, make medicines more affordable, and more - Instead of saying "Trump Bad," Dems would do well to say, as Al Gore once did: "Everything that should be up is down and everything that should be down is up" - and then offer solutions.
Meanwhile, Fetterman supports the genocide on the Palestinian people which is a policy of fascist. Do he and the other think we have forgotten WILLIS American war against fascism and the thousands of our relatives who lost their lives? We have a turd in our cocktail of democracy in Fetterman.
I agree, because simply opposing something is not good politics. What the Democrats are certainly lacking is a compelling narrative to convey to Americans about how things can be better in the future with them.
