Melania Trump Slams Epstein Claims as Photos and Flight Records Reemerge
Melania Trump confirmed the controversy with an unusual White House statement, but her denial did not erase the documented overlap between the Trump orbit and Jeffrey Epstein’s. According to Reuters and AP, she said she never had a relationship with Epstein, was not introduced to Donald Trump by him, and knew nothing about his crimes.
The tension is that the public record already shows more than casual distance around the broader Trump-Epstein story. Reuters reported newly released Justice Department material included a prosecutor email saying Donald Trump flew on Epstein’s jet eight times in the 1990s, while AP noted records also included a 2002 email involving Maxwell and a photo with Melania, Trump, Epstein and Maxwell together.

There is also older, widely cited evidence of Trump’s social ties to Epstein. The Washington Post resurfaced Trump’s 2002 praise of Epstein as a “terrific guy,” while ABC News reported victims’ lawyer Brad Edwards said he saw no client list and, separately, had found no indication Trump was involved in Epstein’s abuse. AP also reported former model Stacey Williams accused Trump of groping her in 1993 while Epstein watched, an allegation Trump denied.
What Melania settled Thursday was her denial. What she did not settle is why the Epstein record keeps pulling the Trump story back into public view.
