Meta Deploys AI Zuckerberg So 79,000 Staff Can “Talk to the Boss”
Meta is reportedly building an AI version of Mark Zuckerberg so employees can “talk to the boss” but the move is raising bigger questions about how far tech leaders want to replace themselves.
According to The Guardian and Financial Times, the company is training a digital avatar on Zuckerberg’s voice, tone, and thinking so it can answer employee questions and even appear in meetings.
The goal is to help Meta’s 79,000 workers feel more connected to leadership without needing direct access to the CEO.

But the rollout comes as Meta faces lawsuits and criticism over how its platforms affect users, especially younger audiences.
The Verge reported Zuckerberg is personally involved, spending hours each week helping develop AI systems across the company.
The bigger shift is hard to ignore.
Meta isn’t just building tools—it’s experimenting with replacing human presence itself, starting at the top.
