Michael Carbonara Commits $3M to TV Ads Across Florida’s Redrawn FL-22
Republican congressional candidate Michael Carbonara is committing $3 million to a television campaign across Florida’s redrawn 22nd Congressional District, according to a Florida Politics report.
The move gives Carbonara a major early paid-media presence in a South Florida district reshaped by redistricting. It also comes as his campaign is leaning into social media and local conservative organizing, including public support from the Fort Lauderdale Young Republicans.

The Federal Election Commission lists Carbonara as a Republican candidate, and campaign materials say the redrawn FL-22 stretches across Hendry County, the Immokalee area of Collier County, western Palm Beach communities and part of Broward County.
The practical effect is simple. Voters across multiple South Florida media markets may begin seeing Carbonara’s message well before the primary. The ad buy also signals that the race is moving from redistricting fallout into an early fight over name recognition, turnout and voter definition.
