MTG Blasts Trump On Air, Declares Iran War a Betrayal of ‘America First’ Promise
Marjorie Taylor Greene publicly tore into Donald Trump on The Megyn Kelly Show Monday, lambasting his handling of the war with Iran and questioning the rationale behind U.S. military decisions.
Greene, appearing on Megyn Kelly’s SiriusXM program, said the recent strikes on Iran alongside Israel represent a deep departure from “America First” principles.
The former Georgia congresswoman challenged the justification for the operation, arguing it has led to American troop deaths and spiraling costs at a time when many Americans struggle with debt and everyday expenses.
Greene took particular aim at Trump’s decision-making process, asking on air, “who in the hell are these decisions being made for and who is making these decisions?” and suggesting a loss of focus on domestic priorities.

She also pressed beyond policy disagreements, openly questioning what she described as Trump’s mental state in light of campaign pledges and his current stance. According to Mediaite, she said Trump “doesn’t care about what the American people think.”
“This isn’t the ‘no more foreign wars’ president I supported,” Greene told Kelly on air.
The confrontation underscored a growing schism within Trump’s base, as once-loyal allies voice frustration over foreign engagements and perceived abandonment of campaign promises.

Political observers say Greene’s remarks may signal widening MAGA infighting over U.S. foreign policy, especially as the conflict with Iran escalates and casualties mount.
Trump’s team has not publicly responded to Greene’s comments.
What happens next: Greene’s protest may fuel broader debate among conservative voters and could influence GOP strategy ahead of the 2026 midterms.
