MTG Reveals ‘High-Level’ Dissent Inside Trump White House Over Iran War
Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says the Iran war is creating quiet divisions inside President Donald Trump’s administration.
During a CNN interview Monday, Greene claimed senior officials in the White House privately oppose the conflict but have not spoken publicly about it.
According to Greene, some figures “high up in the administration” disagree with the decision to enter the war but remain silent for political reasons.
She declined to name anyone directly.
Greene also warned that the ongoing war could politically damage Vice President JD Vance, saying prolonged fighting “definitely does hurt JD Vance,” even though she previously campaigned heavily for him.
Reports cited in coverage of the conflict say Vance initially had reservations about launching the war with Iran before strikes began.
The broader conflict has already produced major consequences, including more than 1,300 deaths in Iran, 13 U.S. service members killed, and rising oil and gasoline prices worldwide.
Greene’s comments highlight growing tension within the MAGA coalition as the Iran war continues without a clear end.
