I grew up watching the three big networks. Tom Brokaw was a fixture in our house and we made sure we were done with dinner in time to catch the news. We also watched Peter Jennings, less so Cronkite. Dad didn’t like him for some reason. What stands out to me now is the manner in which the news is delivered. There’s a forced urgency to every story. It feels more like they want to excite people rather than just report. Infotainment I guess. I watch more BBC now because it feels more like journalism than entertainment.
I agree, this development is worrying. What does the public say about it? Or is it simply okay for many people because they want to stay out of politics?
This is the warning shot!! If nothing happens to Trump he will grow bolder!
I trust you. You tell truth.
Please, Seth Myers, hang in there. Love the Closer Look.

Looking forward to your series.
TV is unwatchable. It's drug ads not news.

Many people do not watch network television. Therefore, many are unaware, as they rely exclusively on streaming services and the internet.
