New Epstein Files Reference 2000 Kiefer, Oklahoma Death Amid Unverified Trump Allegations
KIEFER, OK — Newly released federal records tied to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation include references to the death of a 19-year-old woman in Kiefer, Oklahoma, on Jan. 10, 2000, and an unverified claim she had been raped in the late 1990s by Epstein and Donald Trump. The death was officially ruled a suicide by gunshot at the time.
The inclusion of the decades-old reference has sparked fresh attention amid the large December 2025 release of more than 30,000 pages of Epstein-related documents under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Critics warn the newly publicized material contains unsubstantiated tips and redactions that make context unclear.
Among the records is a 2020 FBI document from an individual claiming he met the woman and that she told him she had been raped by Epstein and Trump in the late 1990s, an allegation Donald Trump has denied. The tip said she was afraid to go to police but eventually did and was found dead days afterward.
The Department of Justice has publicly stated these specific claims are “untrue and sensationalist” and unfounded and false, noting the timing of the tip’s submission just before the 2020 election casts doubt on its credibility.

Local law enforcement in Kiefer says the town’s mention in the documents does not indicate any current criminal investigation or new evidence about the 2000 death. Officials stressed that redactions and limited context make firm conclusions impossible at this stage.
“The references in these files do not constitute verified evidence,” a Kiefer official said.
The broader document release also includes other mentions of former President Trump and Epstein, including flight logs and tips, but has not produced verified evidence linking Trump to criminal conduct.
Legal experts and advocacy groups say the next step will be independent review of the released material to separate credible information from raw tips. Public demand for more transparency remains high as analysis continues.
