Nvidia Unveils RTX Spark Superchip as AI PC Race Accelerates
Nvidia has launched RTX Spark, a new AI-focused processor designed to power a new generation of Windows laptops and desktop PCs.
The chip, unveiled at Computex 2026, combines CPU, GPU and AI processing capabilities into a single platform aimed at running advanced AI tools directly on devices instead of relying entirely on cloud services. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described the move as a reinvention of the personal computer for the AI era.

Major manufacturers including Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, HP and Asus are expected to release RTX Spark-powered systems later this year. Nvidia says the platform is built for AI agents, content creation, software development and gaming.
The launch opens a new competitive front against Intel, AMD, Qualcomm and Apple, all of which are investing heavily in AI-capable personal computers. Analysts see the move as Nvidia’s biggest push yet beyond its traditional graphics card business and into the core processor market.
