Oklahoma School Principal Takes Bullet Stopping Gunman, Wins Prom King
A surveillance video showing an Oklahoma high school principal tackling an armed intruder is going viral but the story didn’t end there.
According to AP News and The Guardian, Pauls Valley High School principal Kirk Moore was shot while confronting a former student who entered the building with a gun on April 7.
Police say the suspect fired inside the school and pointed a weapon at students before Moore charged and helped disarm him.

The footage of that moment has spread widely online, with officials saying his actions likely prevented a mass casualty event.
Days later, students voted to honor Moore at prom, where he was crowned king in a separate moment now gaining attention.
