Operation Iron Pursuit Located More Than 200 Child Victims, DOJ Says
The Justice Department says Operation Iron Pursuit located more than 200 child victims and led to the arrests of more than 350 alleged child sexual abuse offenders during a one-month nationwide crackdown.
The operation ran from April 1 through April 30 and involved all 56 FBI field offices and U.S. Attorneys’ offices, according to DOJ. Federal officials said the effort targeted alleged offenders accused of crimes including sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, kidnapping, abuse, and child sexual abuse material offenses.

The announcement also moved across social media, with DOJ and FBI field-office accounts amplifying the results on platforms including Facebook, X, and Instagram.
DOJ said the operation follows earlier child exploitation enforcement actions. The department also noted that indictments are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
