According to the October 2025 survey of 4,923 Latino adults, about 24% say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the country, while 76% say they are dissatisfied. Pew notes that dissatisfaction among Latinos has risen sharply over the past year and is now higher than among the general U.S. population.
The report also finds that 68% of Latinos say their personal situation has gotten worse under Trump, and 70% disapprove of the president’s job performance. Majorities also say Trump’s policies on immigration and the economy have harmed rather than helped Hispanic communities.
The survey highlights growing concern about economic pressures, with many Latino respondents reporting difficulty affording basic necessities. Immigration policy remains a major factor as well, with increased fear and uncertainty reported among Latino immigrants.
Pew has tracked Latino satisfaction since 2008, and while survey methods have changed over time, the new results reflect one of the steepest drops recorded in recent cycles.
