Those of us who have respiratory issues are at risk for exacerbations but the entire planet is at risk for global warming. But on the other side, large polluters and the politicians they support will benefit from the change. Sounds like a values judgement

The rich took our money and now they even breathe cleaner air than we do. I know life isn't fair, but this is getting ridiculous.

I know that sometimes, too often, the "almighty penny" wins in congress. But the facts that science presents show that pollution adversely affects health and lives. People not only get ill from respiratory problems caused by air pollution, they lose time in school and work, causing poor learning and poor results on the job, sometimes the loss of jobs altogether. Citizens should speak up to their congressional representatives. Organizations like Moms Clean air Force can help organize protests, and concerted complaints do work, as they do in elections.
