SAVE act is to disenfranchise married women voters. Either go to court to legally change name on birth certificate, OR have a passport with your current name. A marriage certificate is NOT legal proof. 69 million women do not have a birth certificate matching their legal name. Don’t wait until 2026!
I have stopped going to McDonalds, Target and Lowe, and any other company that has rejected DEI training. It may not make a difference in their bottom line, but at least I can sleep at night and know when the judgement day arrives, I will be able to hold my head up high
It's tough. We need enough people to make an impact and unfortunately many (myself included) live in areas where using economic pressure is difficult. We don't have Target or fast food options. There's not a Costco for over a hundred miles and we rely heavily on Walmart and Amazon just to receive basic necessities. My poverty, not my will, if you will. My options locally are Dollar General and a tiny grocery store with high prices. And I get it. They don't have the buying power of Walmart and Amazon. It's frankly a surprise they haven't gone under yet. Our isolation is what keeps them going because the big corporations won't build here, but are located within 45 minutes. Whenever possible we try to be strategic with our purchase power just to sleep better at night
I boycotted Wal-Mart a long time ago. I also dropped my Washington Post subscription and left X for Bluesky. I'm also no longer watching news on ABC or any of the other major TV networks.

And do it now. Getting a passport takes documents, time, and money. For some of us, it may also mean travel to find a place
