South Park Takes Aim at Pete Hegseth — Calls Him a “Douche”
In its latest episode, the long-running animated satire South Park didn’t hold back: a parody of Pete Hegseth is explicitly labeled a “f*cking douche,” with the insult delivered in a montage set to a twisted version of “Danger Zone.”

The episode — a Thanksgiving-themed installment titled “Turkey Trot” — depicts a caricature of Hegseth as a social-media–obsessed, power-blustering “Secretary of War.” The character storms into the local police station demanding the release of billionaire Peter Thiel, only to be rebuffed, ridiculed, and eventually jailed alongside him.
Not stopping at the police station, the show also mocks Hegseth’s online-content hustle: as he livestreams a “military-style” intervention at the town’s Turkey Trot run, a voice-over repeatedly chants “Pete Hegseth is a f---ing douche,” while lyrics jab at him making “lots of content, like a little teenage girl.”
Behind the satire, the episode aims a broader critique at what the show presents as Hegseth’s prioritization of spectacle over substance: characters mock him for caring more about social-media followers than actual duty. A parody of Donald Trump even admonishes him: “Don’t just make a bunch of content — like, actually go and do something.”
Whether you view it as biting political satire or a low-blow depends on your perspective — but there’s no denying: South Park just made Hegseth a public laughingstock. Expect fallout to follow, especially as the episode lands amid real-world tensions involving the National Guard and government leadership.
