Sunday Funnies:

It has been a week. I have thoughts, but none of them have survived contact with the timeline.

So… to the cartoons! Welcome to the Sunday Funnies.

Meet George Jetson

Sixty-four years ago, they promised us robots would do the housework. We taught them to make art instead. We hate this timeline.

Profiles in Courage

Nothing summons the human conscience quite like unfavorable internals.

The Circle of Life

Increasingly, “fresh blood” is less a political strategy than a medical order. A pulse* is no longer adequate. (*mechanically maintained included)

Misery

Most quoted, too, until he banned the press. Honestly, the lack of coverage has been kind of nice.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish

First intelligent life we’ve encountered, and they immediately locked the doors. Fair, though some of us are seriously begging for an alien abduction right about now.

That’s enough internet for one Sunday.

Go outside. Hydrate. Stare at a tree. Pretend none of us have Wi-Fi. Summon the gods of Autumn. Go forth!
