Perhaps the powerful and wealthy in this country are more alike than they think?

It doesn't matter whether they are Democrats or Republicans.

The cost of materials due to tariffs has increased homeowners insurance, and the insurance rates continue to rise, unrelated to the estimated “sale price” but due to replacement costs. Tariffs!

Fire, floods, hail, tornadoes 🌪️

California + Florida insurers leaving or gone, refuse to cover because of repeated natural disasters

Rent subsidies would also help by permitting renters to spend less on rent and to save money for home purchases.

Or perhaps billionaire business owners could just pay people more at all those jobs they create?

The first question that is asked and answered about the supplying of food, shelter, medical care, and education in the United States is "How do we make a profit at this?". And plans that produce more profit are generally favored over plans that produce less.
