This made me laugh. I've heard the same thing at other clubs' meetings -- who has the banner? Who has the fall decorations? One club actually has a storage trailer that they periodically go through. Another has a club house yet still can't find things.
Paper and other writing materials were invented thousands of years ago specifically to improve organization, in many ways the foundation of civilization. In the past few generations, Americans have forgotten enough organizational skills to allow a failed and corrupt president to make our problems vastly worse.
These fading skills are not everything that everyone needs to know and use regularly, but NOT knowing and using them is destroying us.
I love these stories, by the way - deep-cleaning and reorganizing messes are deeply satisfying, and I hope more people who need to start learning how important these skills are to everyone.
