What was written is horrible and attrition in other areas is just as bad. Lawyers and judges also acquire knowledge and experience that could be passed on to new hires, but they are leaving government enmasse due to the threat of being fired by thought police, lack of independence, and being forced to defend positions they don't support. As the government loses key cases in better times or fails to settle matters that should be settled, we will also regret the loss of legal knowledge.
