This is recommended for reading by everyone in a red state. Texas is used as an example of what a nation would look like under an authoritarian, simply because it is nearly there now.

Running a country like a business is bound for failure. And knowing that t-Rump is the bankruptcy king this doesn't bode well for the US.

I don’t understand why the voters vote against their best interests. Even the millionaires only get one vote each. If it’s a matter of getting to the polls, why aren’t they organizing transportation, going door to door to find out what it would take to get people to the polls. There’s no law against educating the public, door to door if necessary, billboards, info on line, flyers, etc. Maybe I’m being too optimistic but it’s got to start somewhere, even if it’s other states not doing business with them, and individuals boycotting companies’ practices have worked in the past. Help the people in Texas out folks!
