I didn't want to say "I knew this would have happened all the time" , but I will, nonetheless. Mind you, I'm a nobody - not even American - but my generation had a subject in high school called American Social Studies, 3 American exchange teachers in 2 years who taught us American history and culture and I learned my American history very, very well. So, back to the initial intro. I had a hint floating in my mind that the infamous right wing fascist attack on the Capitol was exactly that - an infamous right wing fascist attack on democracy as we knew it. What is more dangerous is that Americans in general have no idea what is going to happen in the very near future. If this archiving and lying is any indication of the future, Americans will start to live a very bleak life - something that its history so far has never witnessed before - the Dark Ages, Fascism & Nazism of the worst kind, the Inquisition Spanish style, Francoism, etc.
It will not be a pretty life at all. Every single American institution is falling apart very fast, let alone the economy! Why do you think Trump is starting to hoard fuel, gold, resources of all kinds, application of tariffs, etc. ? Because America itself is falling apart and the advancement of China, Russia, India, BRICS, etc. is very, very scary !!!
Oh the shape of things to come !! It's for real, it's not a petty joke !!! In any case, if I'm wrong and it IS a joke, it will be on the American people !!!!
It is indeed dark times, and infuriating to see so many blind to what is happening. We will need our international friends to preserve history, knowledge, culture. Like during the original Dark Ages, someone else will need to be the guardians if there is any chance of a Renaissance. May be lucky enough to survive to see it

My generation looked up to America as a child looks up to his/her parents as respectful role models .....we cherished the music, literature and culture from America. Methinks modern America's decline (ALL EMPIRES DECLINE) started in 1962 with the brutal assassination (inside-job , just like 9/11) f JFK, then add MLK, Malcolm X , etc. via Watergate, Vietnam, , Nixon, Irangate (remember that one?!), right wing Reaganism, Thatcherism in the UK, etc. etc. The first event in '62 shaped all of our future lives - irreversibly, unconditionally, without a shadow of a doubt !!! We were never the same again. Now Trumpism is the "natural progression" and final product of all the above. To make a long story short, I suggest Americans and the world, listen to and heed the lyrics of a song by Steppenwolf that days it all - Monster - lest we ever forget.
