Trump Mobile’s “Made-in-USA” Smartphone Still MIA — Buyers Left Waiting
Trump Mobile is facing growing scrutiny after its flagship “T1” smartphone — originally marketed as a U.S.-made device — still hasn’t reached customers months after its promised August ship date.

The company launched the gold-colored T1 earlier this year, promoting it as a patriotic alternative to big tech phones and requiring customers to place a $100 deposit. But after advertising an August release and later hinting at September, the phone remains unavailable. Customers say they’ve received no firm delivery timeline, and the Trump Mobile website now lists shipping as “later this year.”
Several outlets have also noted that the original “Made in the USA” language has disappeared from the product’s marketing. Early spec sheets have reportedly changed as well — with reduced screen size details and other technical claims quietly altered.
The ongoing delay has fueled questions about whether the company can deliver a fully American-made smartphone at a mid-range price point, something major tech manufacturers have struggled to achieve.
For now, buyers who paid deposits are still waiting, and Trump Mobile has not provided an updated release date.
