Trump Torches MTG After She Exposes Private GOP Mockery of Him on 60 Minutes
Donald Trump’s latest Truth Social attack on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is exposing rare public fractures inside the MAGA movement.
In a weekend 60 Minutes interview, Greene said many Republican lawmakers privately mocked Trump’s behavior and her loyalty to him, only to reverse course and “put on MAGA hats” once he secured the 2024 nomination. She said members are “terrified” to criticize him because they fear becoming targets on Truth Social.

Greene also claimed Trump’s decision to label her a “traitor” last year “directly fueled” a wave of threats against her family, including a pipe-bomb threat at her home and death threats against her son. She said those threats came from the right as well as the left.
The Georgia Republican pointed to their split over her push to release the Epstein files, saying Trump was “furious” and aligned himself with donors and advisers who didn’t want the documents public. She added that she no longer identifies as “MAGA,” only “America First,” accusing Trump of drifting away from the movement’s original priorities.
Hours after the interview aired, Trump fired back on Truth Social. He mocked her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown,” questioned her intelligence, and claimed she “went bad” only because she was “jilted by the President of the United States.” He also renewed his long-running feud with 60 Minutes and demanded another apology.
The televised split between two of MAGA’s loudest figures highlights unmistakable cracks in Trump’s inner orbit. Greene, once one of his most loyal defenders, is now publicly accusing him of betraying his own movement, while Trump is working to push her out of it entirely.
