Trump Warns Iran ‘All Hell’ in 48 Hours Over Strait as Deadline Resets
President Donald Trump has issued yet another 48-hour ultimatum to Iran, warning that “all hell will reign down” if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.
The problem is this isn’t the first deadline.
According to The Independent and CBS News, Trump previously gave Iran a 10-day window, followed by earlier threats of strikes on infrastructure that have not fully materialized. Iran has so far refused U.S. demands while allowing only limited shipping through the strait.
The stakes are global. The Strait of Hormuz handles roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply, and disruptions have already pushed markets and military tensions higher.

Meanwhile, the situation on the ground is worsening. A U.S. fighter jet was recently shot down, and at least one American service member remains unaccounted for, according to multiple reports.
Despite repeated warnings, there is little evidence Iran is changing course.
And with each new deadline, pressure builds on whether the U.S. will actually follow through this time.
