Trump’s plans are appalling. I know from having relatives who live in the United States that US social support programs are virtually nonexistent compared to Canada.
Trump’s stated intention to try to annex Canada has met with total opposition among 100% of our population primarily because Canada has superior social support programs such as Day Care single parents, Old Age Security, workman’s compensation and more. All far superior than any in the United States. There isn’t a Canadian crazy enough to want to trade what we have for what US residents don’t have.
