Trump’s Russia Deal: Letting Putin’s Spies Back In
History proves Russian “diplomats” are spies—so why is Trump pushing to bring them back?
Vladimir Putin is about to get exactly what he wants: a fresh foothold inside the United States. Surprise, surprise, Donald Trump is paving the way.
Right now, the U.S. is considering the return of Russian diplomats, a move Trump and his allies are pushing under the banner of "easing tensions." But let’s be clear: this isn’t diplomacy. It’s a national security disaster waiting to happen.
The last time Russian diplomats were in the U.S., they weren’t just shaking hands—they were running intelligence operations. The U.S. has expelled dozens of so-called "diplomats" for espionage, including after Russia hacked federal agencies, interfered in our elections, and infiltrated American institutions.
Yet Trump and his allies are once again rolling out the red carpet for Putin’s spies.
How did we get here? Why does Trump keep siding with Moscow? And what happens next?
Let’s break it down.
Russian Diplomats: Spies in Disguise
Make no mistake, when the Kremlin sends "diplomats," they don’t just deliver formal letters and pleasantries. They gather intelligence, recruit spies, and plant disinformation.
2010 Illegals Program – The FBI busted a Russian spy ring living under false identities in the U.S.
SolarWinds Hack (2020) – A massive Russian cyberattack compromised federal agencies, including Homeland Security.
Expulsions for Espionage – The U.S. has expelled dozens of Russian diplomats in response to security threats:
2018: 60 Russian diplomats were expelled after the poisoning of ex-spy Sergei Skripal.
2022: 12 Russian diplomats were expelled from the UN in New York for "espionage activities" immediately following the invasion of Ukraine.
These expulsions severely weakened Russia’s intelligence operations in the U.S.—but now, Trump and his allies are helping to rebuild them.
Bringing them back isn’t diplomacy; it’s inviting Putin’s intelligence network into our backyard.
Yet Trump and his allies are normalizing this idea, calling for "peace" with Russia while ignoring the obvious risks.
Trump’s Russia Problem: A History of Enabling Putin
This isn’t new. Trump has a long, disturbing history of bowing to Putin and undermining U.S. security:
Helsinki (2018): Trump publicly sided with Putin over U.S. intelligence on election interference.
Ukraine Aid Freeze (2019 & 2025): Trump blocked military aid to Ukraine, weakening its defense against Russian aggression.
Sanctions Rollback (2018-2020): Trump tried to lift restrictions on Russian oligarchs despite bipartisan opposition.
Echoing Kremlin Propaganda: Trump called NATO “obsolete,” defended Russia’s Ukraine invasion, and blamed Ukraine for the war.

Russia’s Playbook: Broken Promises, Military Aggression, and Economic Warfare
Let’s not pretend this is just about diplomacy. Russia’s entire foreign policy is built on deception, aggression, and coercion.
2014: Crimea Annexation – Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum and invaded Ukraine.
2015: Syria Intervention – Russia propped up Assad, prolonging a brutal civil war.
2022-Present: Full-Scale War on Ukraine – Putin’s deadliest escalation yet.
Weaponizing Energy – Russia manipulated oil and gas to pressure Europe into submission.
Putin doesn’t need trust; he needs opportunities to exploit weakness. And Trump keeps giving him those opportunities again and again.
The Real Danger: Trump’s Opening for Putin
This isn’t just about diplomats. It’s about Trump handing Putin an even bigger prize: a weakened, divided America.
Undermining NATO – Calling it “obsolete” weakens Western defenses.
Dividing America – His pro-Russia rhetoric polarizes the U.S.
Giving Putin a Green Light – This Trump presidency — even more than the last — emboldens Russia to escalate further.
Every time Trump talks about trusting Putin, the Kremlin sees an opportunity.
Conclusion: We’ve Seen This Movie Before
We don’t need a history book to understand what happens when the U.S. trusts Russia—we just need to watch the news.
🔴 Putin lies.
🔴 Russia cheats.
🔴 Trump enables it.
Now, with the return of Russian diplomats, we’re not just making a mistake. We’re repeating history.
Trust isn’t given—it’s earned. And Russia has earned nothing but skepticism, sanctions, and scrutiny.
Because the moment we let our guard down, Putin wins.

Trump is absolutely a Russian agent and Traitor to everything that is American, the Constitution, and the rule of Law
America has been asleep at the wheel, when they backed Ukraine what did they expect? Did they think they wouldn’t be cyber attacked or have traitors planted in their government or have no retaliation from the Russian invaders, they were fighting against. Now, they have a Russian President supporter who is ready to bring back diplomats into the country.
