Trump’s TikTok Tango: Flip-Flopping While America Burns
Why politicians would rather distract you with apps than fix real problems.
Here we go again. TikTok is on the chopping block, and politicians want you to believe it’s the greatest threat to America since Wi-Fi passwords got too long. At the center of this circus is none other than Donald Trump. Remember when he was adamant about banning TikTok? Something about “China stealing our data”? Well, fast-forward to now, and Trump is asking the Supreme Court to delay that very ban. If flip-flopping were an Olympic sport, he’d have more medals than Michael Phelps.
Let’s not kid ourselves—this isn’t about “national security.” It’s about control. Politicians are fine with Facebook selling your data, Amazon listening to your conversations, and Google knowing your darkest secrets. But the second China gets in on the game? Suddenly, it’s DEFCON 1.
And what’s with Trump’s sudden change of heart? Simple: he needs TikTok. It’s where his supporters live—posting conspiracy theories, ranting about the “deep state,” and turning his slogans into cringy memes. Banning the app would be like banning Fox News from cable. Can’t alienate the fan base!
Meanwhile, while we’re all busy debating whether TikTok is a national threat, the real dangers are right in front of us: crumbling roads, unaffordable doctor bills, and paychecks that can’t keep up with grocery prices. But instead of addressing those, they’d rather point to the funny dancing app and yell, “Look over there!”
Here’s the truth: TikTok isn’t ruining America. Politicians using it as a scapegoat are.

Tony is a true visionary! FB & Twitter are collecting data and selling it to China, very little if any difference from TikTok. FWIW I don't have the TicTok ap. I watch YouTube, that's plenty of media for me.
It's also China's so you know, "Just kidding, Xi. You're beautiful."
